Training by AirPhoton
AirPhoton offers training services in several areas related to data use for climate and air quality applications including:
The training services we offer include purely web based training as well as in person courses. Training sessions are tailored to the needs of the contracting organization for content, presentation format and length of training.
Our training coordinator Rich Kleidman has developed materials for and led dozens of in person and web based training sessions on behalf of NASA’s Earth and Applied Sciences branches. His training sessions and materials have reached hundreds of participants ranging from U.S. and Canadian state and federal personnel working for air quality agencies to research scientists and students in India, China, Brazil, Singapore, Vietnam and Israel.
Training materials are also contributed by Drs. Vanderlei Martins and Lorraine Remer who have many years of research and university teaching experience.
Please see the other pages in the training section of our website to see samples or our training materials.
You can see some of the materials Rich developed on the NASA Applied Remote Sensing Training (ARSET) project website.
- Satellite remote sensing data
- In-situ particulate measurements
- The coordinated use of model, remote sensing and in-situ data for air quality applications.
